Yes all shots of me was in front of a green screen, keyed out, and I of course record the audio to Sonar and sync the two. I'll record a percussive count in like hand claps, edit them to be exactly on the beat, then as I'm recording video with audio I'm sending a mix directly to the camera via a headphone out. Then I can simply visually align the video with audio to a Sonar mix and line them up to the sample. Makes it pretty easy to do multiple takes of video then pick and choose the good bits. Most of the time I choose the best performance sections with the comp tool and take note of which take goes where. Sometimes the visual wins out. We do what we can to make the most of what we have :)
