Hi friends ... I m literally getting crazy in this ...

I always had sonnox limiter on my master bus as a part of my default project template ...
Been producing for years with under x1 and windows 32 bits

I went full 64 2 years ago ... And the headache started there ...

First i was using the bitbridge version and then sonnox came with a 64 bits version : hourra ...

Then i started to try to open old projects done with the 32 version ( G4)

No way crash ...no matter x1 or platnum ....

The craziest is that if i unistall last version ... Put the 32 bits one ...bitbridge ...save project , install the new one , open the project ...: it s working ....it s really crashing on old version saved project ....the thing is that i have no option than to use an old 32 bits bitbridged version now or it crash sonar from scratch , can t even erase and reload the plugin or some in the opened project ...

So basically i m using outdated gui and version ...and it makes me mad !!! To have on my master a old 32bits crap ...

Any ideas guyz ?

Have you tried using jBridge instead of BitBridge on the 32 version of the sonnox limiter?

Basically i have no issue using the bridged one ( jbridge installed ) ...my issue is trying to use the 64 bits version and opening old project ...64 bits versiok wirks perfectly on new projects ... Or on project saved with it from start ...

Do the projects crash opening in safe-mode (hold shift key while opening the projects) and skip loading of the old plug-in? If they open in safe mode, try swapping the old plug-in for the new one.

It should walk you through each plug you have in that old project asking if you want to load it or not. When you get to the 32bit Sonnox plug, don't let it load (I forget the exact wording it will ask/say). The open the project and delete the old Sonnox and put the new one in.

Save project under new name (just in case). Try to open the new project and see if that works for you.

I have just had a nightmare with Sonnox Supressor - after being away for a few months, almost everything (well seemed like it) needed updating on my system, including iLok etc.
Anyway everything was OK except Sonnox Supressor - would not work and kept telling me had no valid licence IIRC - iLok were very helpful and told me that Sonnox probably needed an OLD version iLok software, so downloaded the legacy ilok drivers etc, installed and Sonnox worked - seems like must be some old code in the Sonnox software if you ask me - wonder if your problem is related to a similar issue
Cheers

I also was thinking about ilok , because i recently updated it for VMR , but , if it's working with all other software it's deeper than that ...from my talks with some dev's time to time , i know that some of them add another level of security ... i'm pretty sure this is the weak area !!

I upgraded to the enhanced bundle 2 years ago .... but to tell the truth i never use the inflator and transmod (witch is damm good ) just because like soundtoyz back then , it's synonmous with problems in my book ....
