Free for taking a survey if you own a Valhalla product :)

Whoo hoo!

FYI, it was one of the most fun surveys I've ever taken, taken just after reading a kickstarter update from Toejam and Earl.

Oops, I'm supposed to be working...

I'm on the road. Took the survey, but can't down load it until I get home. What do you guys think of the new plug in. What is a modulator? I love my Valhalla plugs, so I jumped on the survey.

I'm in the middle of a project which needs completion so I'm also waiting to install and check out, but I really like my Vintage Verb, so I am looking forward to it :)

A modulator for a guitar would have effects like a chorus, flange or even phase sound...

Got to play with this for awhile, and a neat, professional plug for what it does. The "manual" knob is cool as far as easy access to set a flange notch like in the ancient floor boxes.

Useful as a mono type flanger or chorus. Could have used some control over stereo separation. Can play with and dial in settings that approximate room ambiences.

Can dial in some long reverb trails.

This is a plugin that the Beatles would have cut off a left appendage to have.

If you have any of the Valhalla plugs, or several of them like me, VSM is a bit redundant and the effects served much better in any of the $50 paid versions. Tonal control over the processed effect is missing. Some good sounds in the minimalistic approach however.

Not to bang a free unit offered to those who have gone with the not free option, and Valhalla is dynamite. This would have been a keeper as a freeware offer to everybody. It is free to already subscribed Valhalla customers. From this perspective already owning the big guns, can't really find what this adds. Good, but a limited and scaled down version of what I have already purchased.

So what is your spirit animal? lol
Yea, owning Ubermod I am afraid I won't have much use for this, but I have yet to install.

Uh... mine was the round thing to the way right, but had a bit of disconnect trying to fully identify with it.

Guys,

There is one use for this that would make it a go to unit, involving the manual knob for flange.

Response is almost like good hardware rack units. One technique I got a lot of miles out of and lost in the digital era was being able to play the manual knob like an instrument on a track. Means moving the flange notch to different notes like a Theremin.  Example would be guitar chords with a flange notch melody overlay.

Have a Korg Nanocontroller that I never got to work but would make a great tool in combination.
