I have no idea of what you mean by particular face shields, as there are so many ways and reasons to cover your face. For example, I find it quite acceptable to cover ones face in a demonstration if getting identified could potentially form a threat to you or your family (you see that a lot when refugees are demonstrating due to
 events in their old country).
Then again, if you start breaking windows and such, being masked would be a reason for a more severe punishment, as the mask indicates you've come to deliberately cause mayhem.
In Asia it's normal to wear a face mask due to pollution. On international airports you see lots of Asian tourists wearing these paper masks (to avoid diseases, too??).
As a rule otherwise, IMO, one should not be allowed to cover ones face without a good reason.

I believe adults should be allowed to choose the clothes they wear, I know this is not a politicially correct answer these days with all the fear about terror attacks, but in my opinion its freedom of expression, and If I want to wear a gorilla suit to work, well I should be able too, and if my boss does not like it then he can fire me!  No that I would wear a gorilla suit, I am not into costumes!

In the local bank here, they have signs up now, no sunglasses, no hoods, no hats or caps, no masks, no helmets, no balaclavas and no burqas.  This is Australia, it gets to 40+ celcius in summer here, if u dont at least wear sunglasses and a hat to protect your eyes and ears from sun damage, you are a fool!  I think we still have one of the largest rates of skin cancers in the world, we probably should all be wrapping our heads up with bandanas etc instead of coating ourselves in whatever chemicals are in sunscreen!

I do not have any masks, but I would resent not being able to choose to wear one if I wanted to, and I am as passionate about that as I am about being able to wear my tshirt and jeans when I socialise instead of suit and tie!

Thanks everyone, the thing about Face shields, what I am talking about is, and I should have defined it better, sorry my bad. I think if someone is going to protest then they should be required to not cover their face, if a person is working a job or doing anything in person then they should be required to show their face.
What I am getting at, is, Imagine a world where your pizza delivery person shows up and have a face shield on and get's there quickly, faster than usual, I mean what would you think if you ordered a Pizza to be delivered and someone with ta FACE SHIELD "Maybe forgot they were wearing it or whatever" at your doorstep?

There's not place for anything to "HIDE WHO YOU ARE IN SOCIETY" where you face goes. Some talk about tatooo's and such things making fun, that's all good and well, but what I have been talking about is : "How would you like everyone you deal with daily hiding who they are? I don't think you'd like that very much".

What about tinted vehicle windows? It's kinda the same thing.

That's what I am asking when I say :"What is your opinion of Face Shields"?

Not really funny when people from other countries call themselves your friend and throw off of you trying to be comical when you are trying to make a point that matter around your home where you live. Kinda lets you know there are no internet friends I guess.
