Obviously, what I want to do can be done in at least one VST host.

Is it possilbe to save the preset in Kontakt 4 and load it in 5? Not the dropdown menu one but the VST button and save it there? Then open it back up in Kontakt 5.

I myself would never consider trying to write something to alter a Sonar project file for something like this. It may well be possible to do this, it is just something I would choose to do.

It would have been nice if someone from Cakewalk had responded. Maybe next time I won't start a technical thread on the weekend.
