So this is probably a dumb question but I am new to SONAR X2 Producer coming from 8.5.3. Why, when using folders, is the input echo button half-lit after recording a MIDI track? The mouse-over says it's "on" but it also says that when fully lit. I can't seem to find a reason for the half-lit condition. All info appreciated.

Hi Reber,

That indicates that only some tracks in the folder have that feature activated. The same thing happens with the Mute and Solo buttons. If only some of the tracks in the folder are muted or soloed, then those folder buttons will only be half lit.

In addition, you can click those folder buttons to quickly toggle those features for all tracks in a folder on/off. So for example, to mute/unmute all tracks in a folder, click the folder's Mute button.

Yup - it's attempting to show you that you are 'partially' echoing within the folder.  Used to confuse me too, so don't feel bad.
