Just for anyone reading this thread - You do not need to install X1a-d, you can just install X1c and X1d.

X1d requires having X1c, but X1c does not require X1a or X1b - it can be installed over plain old X1.

Hmmm... a tutorial I found says I can click on the "Show/Hide Transients" button two to the right of the power button.  Apparently the UI has been through some changes.  I can't find that button.  I can get transients to appear by hitting the "Edit Click Map" button a couple times.  Seems like there should be a better way.  Thoughts?

And sometimes I can see a right-click menu which has Audio Snap but most times not.  I stumble on it, but how do I reliably bring it up?

I don't find "swing" documented.  Is 50% just even spacing of the 1/8 notes for 1/8 note quantize?

Btw, I'm just trying to quantize to the timebase of the drums and MIDI which seems like it should be one of the easiest scenarios.  Quantize works as expected on MIDI.  When I do get AS to quantize, it does weird stuff.  For MIDI I used 1/8 and that was correct for the complexity of time I was playing.  Neither 1/8 nor 1/16 seem to yield expected results in AS quantize though.

I'm sure once I figure out the magic set of buttons this will all be easy.
