If you take your Midi tracks and bounce to clip, stretch left to beginning and then make a groove loop out of them (ctrl+L) you can drag them to a folder and rename them something useful. I found this helps into Studio One.

For now im going to close up any projects I have started in Sonar and do typical house cleaning
(bouncing down everything to full clips, Exporting Midi, EXC). Then I will probably keep using sonar for a bit longer
Im just kidding. Studio one or Cubase are my first choices. Though I have used Digital performer in the past.

Thanks Chuck, yea Ill still be doing stuff in Sonar, but keeping better documentation and structure for easier transferring to which ever I choose, and may also do things in both as I adapt and practice transfers, Im also not sure between SOP and CuBase, SOP because I may get a Studio Live Mixer and I guess Pre-Sonus is pretty well established and solid, as may be Cu-base I guess they're somewhat established, with a large user base (albeit so was Sonar), also they have local user group meetings about 6 or more a year, I mean live to meet and interact with local users in person, LOL. I guess sustainability is a key factor for me, and ability to share project files, and I dont want to have to do this again in a few years, LOL. I think Ill also get Mixcraft 8 at $99 US, its not a big investment as other 2 are, I somewhat like interface and its somewhat intuitive, Im trying demo and got all existing Cakewalk plug-ins and VI's/Synths included in Sonar to work, except Nomad BT FX,  just going to try doing some transfer to see how that goes, however its sharing with other users thats limited. so not sure it would be my main DAW. ProTools also said they could give me a fully working 30 day demo to assess, as you cant do much with the PT/First version to test existing plugin or file transfers etc., so "First" impression is not very good.

Cheers
