royarn: Thanks! It's not really much work honestly. I just do what I do every day and run video. The hardest part about the whole video process is the render time. I long for the day when video's can get done faster! I have some quick machines (I don't render on the small boxes, they really take forever) but even they can make a 40 minute video take over an hour to render. I don't do much editing, which that too can take time. Sometimes I screw something up and cut it out, somtimes the phone rings, sometimes I cough, sneeze etc. I had a sneezing fit the other day during a vid for a client. I must have sneezed like 40 times. I started to get mad as everytime I'd start filming again, I'd sneeze and it was pretty funny after a while. I mean I try to put as much as I can into the teaching and explanations of course...but it's a matter of just doing what you do and hoping others can cop the vibe you're trying to put out. :)
John: So true....between the Sonitus plugs and even the old Cake FX plugs even there, we have the competition beat in my opinion. Add in all the others we have, and we obliterate them. Glad you liked it, thanks!
Bluz: LOL! You gotta hear my dad. He's the best with the accent thing. Sounds a bit like a cross between Rocky (without the punch-drunk slur) and Tony Soprano. LOL! Yesterday, I had an appraiser come to my house. (I go up against my tax board yearly because they are just ruthless with property taxes, so I get a reduction every year) The first thing he says to my dad is "so are you like retired mafia or something?" We cracked up and my dad says "no, I ain't neva retired...it's for life. Why, you need somebody to be sleepin witda fishes dere pal?" The dude wasn't laughin' anymore...it was so funny seeing his face change. Dad says "sike!" Hahahaha! He's so fun and his accent would kill ya. The best is when he makes up his own words....I nearly choked to death one time at dinner when he made a comment about "Whitless Houstey" winning some music award. He's priceless! LOL!
Chef Mike: I got my console set for segmented meters and the track view non-segmented. Preferences/Customization/Audio meters.
For the colors, Preferences/customization/colors then select the meters option in the drop down. If you want, I can send you my color scheme and you'll have everything. Let me know.
