Hello everyone! I'm an old analog head and I'm looking for some help in moving into the digital age. I am presently using Sonar X2 Pro with two Presonus D8 preamps feeding my four M-Audio Delta 44 sound cards providing me with 16 channels of inputs and outputs. I have three Presonus D8 preamps and was wondering if I could retire my Delta 44's and and hookup my analog inputs from the studio snake into the D8's and send that directly to my computer so I could handle 24 channels of simultaneous recording without having to use the Delta 44's at all. If I need anything else (other modules, cables, etc) please suggest and if possible a link to a hookup diagram would be greatly appreciated. I'm an old dog having just turned 65 yesterday but I am willing to learn new tricks in trying to keep up with the technology.
