Hi folks, where is the bounce to track view to choose bounce to track? step 2... Sorry for the silly question but im new to X2, thanks
To convert your soft synth tracks to new audio tracks
1.
Mute all tracks that you don’t want to convert.

2.
Click the Track view Tracks menu and choose Bounce to Track(s).

The Bounce to Track(s) dialog box appears.
3.
In the Destination field, choose a new or pre-existing track to put the new audio data on.

4.
If you’ve saved presets from previous bounce operations, you can choose a preset from the Preset field.

5.
In the Source Category field, choose Tracks.

6.
In the Channel Format field, choose mono if you want a mono track, stereo if you want a stereo track, and split mono if you want to create separate mono tracks.

7.
In the Source/Buses field, choose the output bus(es) that the soft synth tracks are using (usually the main outputs).

8.
In the Mix Enables field, make sure all choices are selected.

9.
Click OK.

JPPG - that's a lot of steps. Have you considered right clicking a soft synth track and selecting freeze?

This is exactly what I would do.

What exactly are you trying to do?  You're doing lots of things in that list that you may not really need to do to simply bounce a track from synth to audio.

Especially the mute tracks thing.... is you have a project with 30 tracks that can be a major PITA.... on the flip side you could always simply SOLO  the ones you want as opposed to muting what you don't .... but there is a better way that doesn't involve muting or soloing.

Why not simply highlight the track you want to bounce and use the BOUNCE TO TRACK function?  Its quick and painless and does all the stuff needed to give you a new bounced track to audio.

Freezing the track will do what you want, but if you'd rather bounce to a new track, just select the synth track (or the synth track and associated MIDI tracks) and choose Tracks > Bounce To Tracks from the Track view menu. In the dialog box, choose Tracks as the Source Category and select the synth track in the list shown.
