Sorry Mike - I shouldn't have put your name in the message as it was really just a general statement.

I really have a problem with amazon servers and was hoping to find some kind of corrolation between my problems and others having the same problem.

Take care....

Steve

I think my download, using Chrome was just under 40 minutes

Well, here's my result.  I set everything to download last night at about 11pm.  This morning at 4 am 3 of the modules had downloaded but for some reason the first one hadn't.  I tried to resume the download of part 1, but I had to sign in again and basically start over.

As of right now, the current download time to download part 1 is:  16 hours!  It's currently blazing away at 29 Kbps!  I tried turning off my anti virus software and firewall and there was no change in the speed.

SO, I'm going to have to stick to my original statement....  "If you're planning on buying the Sonar Producer X2 update for $99, be ready to add another $40 for the DVD's."  Maybe you'll be lucky and the download will go smooth, but it just hasn't been my experience.

I downloaded X2 a while ago(no problems). But a few weeks ago I ended up ordering the discs. Because it's a great program and it's an affordable backup. The package it came in looks very nice. So I have it now standing in a special place. And I'm glad I own it. Thanks Cakewalk for taking care of me.

After 3 attempts at downloading part one, using Chrome and then Mozilla, I was ready to fire it up. The final file was corrupt and wouldn't work. So, I'll just wait for the new DVDs to arrive.
