Hey, i've got an idea. 

To undo the ability of people like john who come in here and post a one word post just to rack up their post-count to appear like a big-time senior member, Cakewalk should automatically delete 25% of his non-legit post-count at the end of each year just to account for the amount of junk cheap responses that he utilizes just to a appear like he is a big-shot big-timer in this forum, actually cakewalk should do this to everyones thread-count, and then we all will know for sure that anyone's post-count is indeed what it is with associated effort and genuine relevant participation.

I wouldn't mind that at all. As long as it also includes all CH posts.

Hey now....Leave the CH out of this .


Oh and Monday when the mods see this thread, please do me a favor and just delete it.
We don't need this trash in the CH.
We're busy discussing important topics down there.

To godparticle:

I wasn't aware that Post count inferred anything other than the number of posts.

Joining date doesn't even infer much other than it shows how long someone's been a member of the forum.

Even that doesn't mean much, as many folks have been members for ages and haven't posted much while others have been members for a short while and have huge post counts.

Then there's those who've used cakewalk software for years but just joined the forum recently and those who use Cakewalk software and aren't members of the forum at all.

None of it means anything: It is what it is and that's all.

What does mean something is those who come in here and disrespect Cakewalk and what others say by behaving in a rude manner with no consideration for the forum Terms Of Service.

Thankfully there's not too many of those types and they eventually go away. Even the plague dies off without a host.
