yeah! heavy hitter! it's got enough of a drunken blues shuffle with your excellent guitars on top, and I think the vocals fit the vibe perfectly. well done!

thank you tom.....
you know, when the vocals happen,
they just kind of are, what they are.....

i can write as i sing, and go back and do better performances and stuff...
but that vibe thing just sort of becomes itself, if that makes any sense.....

Bat, you are like the Cirque du Soleil of guitar players.  I don't think anyone else here uses the wah-wah as effectively as you do.  Your creativity is always a shining light.

thanks lynn..
nice of you to say those things.....

wah is kinda my thing.

i don't use it very often, cuz it's just too easy to abuse...

when i was first learning to play guitar, and Lead guitar in particular,
the wah was my ONLY fx.....
it's hendrix's fault.
and to an only slightly lesser degree,
J Becks and Clapton

"sort of shuffle"?    Yeah, and SRV sorta played the blues.

Seriously though, this is great hard-rockin', in your face, groove in the pocket song.    The guitar tones are simply flat out great IMO, could be right off a major label release.

alright steve!
reviving a dead thread.......! LOL
at least, i thought it was....

so, these guitar tones, are mostly direct from a mesa boogie mark 2b, capture with a palmer PDI-09.
there may be ONE actual miced track in the whole bunch....

point being, it was really easy to capture the true tone of the boogie with that device,
but it took me a long time to figure out how to tweak the amp, to get the tone i wanted, to go thru the palmer.

i may experiment with a Radial JDX as well,
and of course, i still have all my mics!

thanks for listening

by the way, i made the file downloadable (16 bit wav file) if you hit the right button.

sounds WAY better than the streaming....
