I am currently using the notation in Reaper 5.20 and it is very impressive. May not look as pretty as sonar's, but that will come. Functionally, it is far beyond, closer in fact to a true notation program than what Sonar has. Still, I will be exporting to Notion to touch up the final score. but they have made quite an entry into the world of DAW's-with- notation-editors. I am very happy with it.

Oddly enough, my first two questions about REAPER's notation view were how to tie the last note of a tuplet to the next note and how to insert a rest in the middle of an existing tuplet. Sound familiar? I'll be interested to see how they respond.

Hi Susan, triplet issues is so far the only problem I've found. But I am amazed that I can add fermatas, trills, grace symbols, etc. I recently imported a large orchestral project from sonar to reaper, and it got all the inst. tracks and associated midi right. Last night I did all the synths and routing, and all insts. have sound. Today I'll add Spaces reverb. First impression of the overall sound: better than I expected. Just need to do some tweaking to get it to where I had it in Sonar. So far, quite impressed with Reaper. I even ordered the mnaual!
