I'm probably going to get beat up for this, but: use Reaper. Varispeed audio is built right into the transport controls.

I keep a Reaper license around for the rare occasion when I want to slow/pitch a track down, record some vocal harmonies or whatnot, then pitch it back it back up. Works great!
