And it's a bout freaking time. If you own the 32 bit versions, log in to you account at korguser.net and download the updates.....now if only Drumagog would get off the pot already.....

Just wanted to add, Drumagog is hoping to be 64 bit ready by April of this year according to info on their forums. I love their software and didn't want to seem like I was bashing them.

I upgraded to 64-bit Legacy, but when I insert an MDEX effect, the popup still identifies it as "MDEX (32-bit)". However, the .dll's are in the directory where I installed them, with recent timestamps. Am I using 32-bit or 64-bit MDEX effects?

Is it possible you have two versions of that on your system? It ships with both the analog legacy bundle and the digital one as well. One of the versions I have requires activation, that one has been updated to 64 bit. The other version is still the old one from a different bundle and shows up as 32.

I have searched my hard drives, and the only version of MDE-X .dll is the one that I presumably installed, with file timestamps from February, 2013. I have reinstalled MDE-X using the 64-bit installer, in an attemp to eliminate the possibility that I had accidentally used the original installer. But Sonar continues to identify MDE-X as a 32-bit plugin.

If you haven't yet, rescan your vst folders. Also when it loads into a project is it loading thru bit bridge, jBridge, or does the GUI look like a normal vst?

John I loved the Monopoly. I had most of those synths in real life for a long time. I started with the MS20 and expanded that with the MS50 to form a powerful modular with the step sequencer and vocoder etc. Then later Korg released those later models Monopoly included. You can make some very fat sounds by putting those oscillators into unison and stuff and detune them etc. It's got a lovely layout too enabling you to experiment with the sound. I loved the front panel on it.

I have heard the MS20 clones are fantastic too. I don't have the monopoly plugin although reading about you liking it has reminded me of it again. I think Korg are good people to model their own gear. They seemed to have done it well. I know that the Wavestation sounds amazing as the plugin. I had the real deal too and the plugin is a monster. It is a killer synth still now.

I have a real M1 and it is amazing how great it sounds. It can be released form its 80's/90 sound very easily. Just edit the reverbs and the chorus they often drowned the presets in and add a modern day effects processor and you have a completely different sounding animal. The M1 and the Roland JD800 have got lovely synth keyboard actions too. M1 being one of the best and nicest to play.

The keyboard on the M1 was the same as the DX7, both made by Yamaha, both excellent synths to play live.
