I bought "The Classic" EZ expansion yesterday for £26 which I thought was a bit of a bargain. Having Superior Drummer means you can buy any of the Toontrack drum expansions whereas you would be limited by EZ Drummer.

The support forum (staff) responded to my whinge about how ridiculously long the download takes to unzip really quickly as well .

The drums themselves sound fine (my favourite is the Yamaha kit) but swapping between The Classic, the standard EZ drums and the standard Superior drums shows a lack of ooomph that requires boosting the output by 5 to 6 dB to cure.
The midi is pretty good.
Overall I'm happy to have more drums but I don't see The Classic as an essential purchase.
