Hi I am using some 3rd party software Elastik 2 with Sonar X2. It works just fine however when using it with the Piano roll view it should work with key C1 which it does on my midi controller but when I try to enter information in piano view it will only accept it on key D3 and upwards? I am new to using the piano view and midi so any help would be really appreciated. Thanks jorel

I think you might need to look at the "Base Octave for Pitches" setting which is in Preferences---->Customization--->Display.

There doesn't seem to be standard MIDI pitch note number agreement between various manufacturers but you can compensate for that using this setting.
