dear cakewalk / sonar enthusiasts, i am using sonar x1 le and am pretty happy so far. now i am trying my first steps to the midi world...it is somewhat confusing. i have bought ez drummer and have sucessfully installed it AND am able to hear the drum pattern whilst the are playing on ez drummer. but when i drag an drop them into x1, the midi track plays only a crooked version of the oroginal pattern. i have research und understood that i new to load the correct drum map to the ez drummer midi track. but when i open the drum map manager, there are tons of drum maps, but no the one i need (ez drummer standard kit) so i new the drum map on my computer, but do not know how to get it to the preset list of the drum map manager. does any body know how to get this? thanks! tom

Welcome, Tom.
I'm not sure what you mean by "crooked", but you don't really need a map for EZD.
Especially if you are playing its own patterns. You can use one of the GM maps if you want to.
Did you insert EZD as a soft synth in your project?
Is the output of your MIDI track set to EZDrummer?
My guess is that the MIDI track output may be set to the MS Wavetable Synth, which will sound noticeably different.
