I just upgraded from 8.5.  I am slowly working through the myriad of minor changes that have been made to the interface and platform.  I have hit a huge roadblock.
 
I right click the track effects.  I open the plug-in.  And then the sound does not go into the effect plug-in.
What little step have I missed that has been added in X2!

Got it .... there was some bypass all effects button at the top the had to be clicked ...
I hate learning new programs!!!!
