For the first time, I'm having problems with V-Vocal.

I was trying to invoke it on a very short, mono, clean clip last night, yet every time I created a VV clip, the GUI would just sit there with no data in it.

br: that's really weird. Have you ever tried filling out a bug report or contacting tech support on this? I read all the things people have going wrong with V-Vocal and just say "thank you Jesus....I'm soo glad I don't have those problems!" LOL!

It works so well for me, I prefer it over Autotune to be honest. The only issue I have ever had was that kronus.dll crashing when I would use it on a full track. I didn't know about doing it in sections...so as soon as  did that, it was perfect for me. It's never let me down since using it that way. It's so weird how it can be great for some and a nightmare for others. I hope you can esolve your issue with it...as to me, it really is an awesome tool in my realm.

i use it alot too for quick fix a guitar note im to lazt to puchin, (i have this chill and have to look over my sholder the intire time ,cus it feels wrong but some things can be fixed on the fly, with Vvocals, also i find myself showing singer.s where there pitch is. and how great it would sound elswhere with vvocal. cant reach that note on the verse Vvocal can help, but good luck live ,\
but as the great BIT has layed out .the rules for vvocal are unforgiving, and leave clip with vvocal will crash a project. and as a practice i try not to move things when sonar is playing thats a crash too. bounce small clips and vvocal is ok here???

Jonesey, this only happens to me on a passage that doesn't have enough signal going on. Just for the heck of it...try this for me. Highlite the clip and raise the gain destructively using the "raise gain" feature in Sonar. Then bring VV in and see if the wave form appears on the graph GUI. That isn't a fix for the problem and might not be something we want to do, but if it works, it proves VV needs a certain amount of signal into it in order for it to work and show up on the graph. Let me know if that's what it was.
