Latest EZ Player Pro was Nov 1, 2015. I reinstalled it on Jan 2016 when I did a clean reinstall so it must have worked on Windows 10 with out an update for a few months. Here is part 1 of 2 videos

There is Toontrack Solo. which is a free download at the Toontrack site. You open this to use Superior Drummer or EZ Drummer with EZ Player Pro stand alone. It will be in Toontrack Software Tools in your account.

Can it be used to JUST open EZ Player Pro standalone? I don't have either of their drum samplers. I wondered what Solo was for.

Solo has no value for you if you have no Toontrack samplers. You can't open up Superior stand alone with out SOLO.

or SAVIHost

or Imageline Mini Host Modular
Web site says ins Beta3 - This one works great for checking out EastWest Play which SaviHost chokes on (at least on my system)

These are the two I use to quickly check out a VST - or take care of VST licensing/registration.
But there are a number of other VST host apps out there.
