Bitdefender (not to be confused with Bitflipper) does not like your site...

That keeps me away....

That is odd ... never seen that and no-one has ever reported that in 7 years ...

Bitdefender is THE #1 Anti-everything software.  It doesn't miss very much...
and is very unobtrusive, which is why I use it.

Don't know why...but if it says NO, then for me...it's a NO.

cclarry,

Seems from the forums that Bitdefender does create a lot of false positives.  There seems to be lots of posts from web masters complaining about their sites being blocked due to their anti-virus software.

I have opened a support ticket to remove jamsoft.co.uk from their blacklist.  How on earth it made it onto the list is another issue altogether.  I'll probably never be able to answer that one.

Give it a day or so and it should be unblocked again.

Thanks,

One thing I just found out...

You should run this as an Admin.

I tried to open it after installing and it crashed...changed to Run as Admin
and the problems went a way...just an FYI...

Ahhh, I'm still testing the software on Win 8, I've not seen this behaviour so will have a look into that when I get to do some more testing.

Thanks for the feedback so far.

Glad to help...I'm on Win 8.1...just an FYI...

It works well, but I the Hard Drives aren't showing up in the drop down on the Database menu?
Do I have to do "export" thing for these to show up?  Still fiddling with it so we do some playing..LOL

Nice OK, just that nasty permissions thing in the first instance so far.

No, the export thing is pretty self contained in the application really.  If you only scanned one location on one drive there isn't any hard drvies to select from so the list won't be built.  Did you build the database using the scan button (on the database view - the radar icon) or did you use the context menu in the browser?
