Interesting listen that.    What are you using for your orchestra sounds?

Cheers
EastWest's Hollywood orchestra. The flute is from Dim pro.

I like this very much. You definitely have a great start going here. I look forward to the completed project.

This is a beautiful theme that captures the season very well.  I, too, await the brass that could round this tune out.  I think with a little attention to the dynamics, this will be stellar.  I can't wait.

Nice job as always, Gus.   I also like the melodies throughout.   I'm curious to see what you do with the brass since it seems as though it doesn't need much.

I liked it a lot but in my earphones it seemed a bit shrill, bright.  Not a crit because it could just be me.  What you did was great.

I'm impressed.  I don't know enough about orchestrating music to offer any thoughts other than to say I found it very compelling and beautiful.

Midwinter can be different things in different locales, but YOUR winter is set in Greenland, or somewhere equally.....well....bleak. The music nicely evokes the title.

Merry Christmas Gus! Yeah, I liked longest knight better. This one is not bad? But I'm not "feeling it."

Thanks. I like longest night more as well, but you have to keep trying different things. This one I had my local orchestra firmly in my mind. I wanted to make sure that I had a part written for everyone.
