I worked on it some more and shot a video for it.
I need to have it totally finished by Xmas so any last minute advice would be appreciated.

WARNING: the video is kinda weird and goofy (maybe even a little scary to small children)... certainly a little embarrasing because I tear up in it.
I almost cut that part but left it in because I think my wife will appreciate it.

I listened and thought it was pretty good. What do you have in terms of the mix? How many tracks and what's on each? You can hear my latest mix on the thread "Remix of Janet and me" I did everything and the mix (Janet sent me the midi for the piano, she's a fine piano player) If you like what you hear, I may take a crack at it? I'm not the best, but it's not that bad either? It's like that movie "Babe." That'll do pig, that'll do...
 
Your tune is actually similar in structure to my latest remix.

My wife was pretty bummed Tuesday night (reason not relevant) and I sent her the YT link.
Later she said "I loved your song but did you have to be so silly in the vid?" 
Ouch...but then we've always been open with each other and our tastes in "humor" have always been different. 
You and I may be the only ones that "get" the vid so I might just make a new vid later and make the song a ballad style as you suggested (I remember she does like Bob Seger ballads).

Thanks very much but I think I'm going to put this to bed for now.
That said, I'm close to finishing a song/vid for my kids and grandkids.
