Starise
One of my all time favorite Christmas songs and I think you have done it very well. I like this composition, has a country rock feel to it. Great mix and tons of talent!

Love the lead playing Herb, beautiful guitar tones.  Like Starise, I like this country/rock feel to the song.  Well done vocals in the chorus's as well.

Tim & Mike.... yeah... one of my favorites as well. I almost scrapped this for a number of reasons.... Thanks for listening and commenting.

Tone courtesy of Mesa Boogie, Fender Tele, and UD.   I had the Mesa really low and on the clean channel for this.... I thought it worked well also.

5 tracks on the vox..... lead and 4 harmonies lower and panned wide.
Guitars.... 4 tracks.... 2 rhythm panned 100% opposite and 2 leads.... twins panned about 20%

Nice, epic Christmas tune... But now I may have to post mine (which is epicer? It's a classic)

;-) It's a classic. I'm not sure I'm feeling the rockish vibe/lead. But hey? Different people feel different things? (that's what they said after my first long night in prison...) Unfortunately? I felt lots of different things :-( I enjoyed your offering, even though I wasn't a major fan of the production, you can't go wrong with this tune. Merry Christmas Herb Et Al.

Nice version of a classic , relevant tune.  I especially like the harmonies and lead guitar.  You guys did a really good job on this.  I like the arrangement.

nice take on the classic....

i think it has a more americana vibe to it....
guitars sound great.....

i'd love to hear a version where the middle lead guitar solo basically re-stated the vocal melody line,
a simple 'gilmore-ish' type approach.

the last solo section with the harmonies was just right

I like the arrangement and playing. The lead guitar solo sounds great.  I think the drums sound thin like not enough umph (bottom/low mids).  The lead vocal has a harmonic boost on it that could be cleaned up a bit.  I don't know what it is but on my system - at medium volume, it sounds like 7K is really boosted.  Listening on softer I can't hear it.
Really nice playing.

really nice lead work, as usual, herb!  subtle organ and pianer.

I hear what Jimmy is saying on the drums and vox.

this is one of my favorite Christmas songs!
