Like your take on this traditional Christmas song.   The guitar harmonies are really cool and the rock/country feel put a nice twist on the song.   Vocals are good.    The ending could be tightened up a little (mainly the drums) but I think everything is really well done.

Nice job Herb. I like this song a lot, and I like this take on it. An interesting mix of rock/blues with the country-ish vocals. Nice guitar work. Very cool.

Thanks to everyone who jumped in and commented....  I was away visiting family in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia over the weekend and was out of touch for the most part with the internet....

Always loved this song (our choir used to sing this - even at an early age I realized what a beautiful song it was). Now had the choir rocked it like this - I would have enjoyed it even more. Thanks.

Sounds good!  As mentioned above the drums are a little thin, but yeah, the guitars sound good.   I also like the piano sound a lot, real clear and defined.   Harmonies, both vocal and guitar, are also very nice.  Good work.

Yes , this song has a lot going for it ..a few things off the top of my head .
I enjoyed that this was a collab , there is just something about getting a group of musicians to work together on a tune …IMHO , that automatically brought the song up a few notches ..
Loved the Vox , guitars sounded very good , nice energy throughout the song as it unfolded …
I like that you guys went Classic County Rock …..Amen I don't think I can handle listening to this song done as Musiak 
great Job ….as mentioned , the drums were a little light ….the drums need  more punch …
even that in itself wasn't a deal breaker …it's real music played by musicians and thats what counts .

Great arrangement, I really like the crunchy guitar tones, the solos were cool, especially the double leads at the end, and the vocals and harmonies were excellent.
