Looking at my CW account, i saw there was a download link for a X1 patch named "X1e" (with serial number and code).
I didn't know at all it has been released, and when, and what it is for.
 
I use now X2, but i left X1d installed.
 
Does somebody knows this X1e patch, and has installed it ?
Is it necessary (or useful) ?

I bet this is not a patch but X1 Expanded.

I just checked there is no X1e patch. There is, as Zonno says, an upgrade to X1 Expanded.

I am going to check my X1 version (which is X1d, i believe)

It should be Expanded if it has reg & serial numbers

Also in my account there are no patches listed for X1 or X2. They are in the support area on the CW web pages.

My Expanded shows in the WEB download section

In the upper section it has an entry to try Expanded 10 days for $10 with all the numbers.

It seems that it is the "X1 expanded" download link that has been renamed (why ? ans when ?) "X1e".

Did it not give a date your purchased or they gave it to you.

I know initially it was $49 but I got it on sale at $10 I think 1/29/12
