I have trawled through the forums to try and find the answer to what is probably a very simple question- how on earth do you change the colour of the text for the name of a clip? Also, when trying to change the colour of the numbers (or the box the number is in) in the console view and clip view there are no colour options showing when i click onto FOREGROUND and BACKGROUND in the Clip pane which is where i thought you could do it? I am a totally new Sonar user, so please go easy on me if the solution is simple!

Colour customisation is extremely limited in X2 and half of what's listed in the colour page simply do.not.work.

This has been an ongoing source of frustration for a lot of users since X1 was introduced. Up until then, all of the options on the Colours dialog worked, but even this implementation was only half baked

For your situation, if you have the Inspector open (press 'i') and at the top you'll see separate tabs for Track & Clip - click one of these and try your colours there. Most of these do actualy work.

Hit "P" and go to Customization / Colors

Then under Color Category go to "Track View" and look for "Track View Audio/MIDI Track Name Text"

and so on.

Why do you want to change the clip text colour? The default clip background color is black so I think it's easy to read. Even after you change the colour of the clip, the clip header remains black.
