So.. I was driving through town and saw the marquis at the Grande Theater. It said "Larry Carlton Aug 12"!! . It is a old converted movie theater, a really great small venue. I went straight to the box office and got third row aisle seats.. 45 bucks each. WOW.
 
Then I got home to a 5# bag of Death Wish COFFEE!!! Life is good (sometimes).

One of my favourite solos is the first one in Kid Charlemagne.

The beginning of Don't Take Me Alive is probably my all time favorite. KC is a really good guitar song too! It seems not that long ago that it was all new but man.. time flies.
I'm really looking forward to this. Maybe I should take my LP copy of The Royal Scam to try for an autograph, it's that small of a venue. Very intimate.
I think the last concert I went to was the YES 2002 tour or The WHO Maximum R&B. I need to get out more! At this rate, if I don't, I'll run out of time!
