Hi all, while intend to keep using Sonar and Win7 till Im forced to assimilate to something else.
 
What would be the best way to format (prepare/document/save) my Sonar project files so as to best allow transfers to another DAW, and what virtues in another DAW should I be looking for to make this as seamless as possible? While Im aware of OMF for wave files, Im not really certain what it all implies, nor what happens with FX and VI's etc., and their settings, I assume these and Pro-channel stuff are all lost and have to be remixed anew?
 
Any direction and help would be appreciated.
