Upgraded to Waves Gold 9.2.0 today, but only the 32-bit version of the plugin appear, though I scan both the 32- and 64-bit folder.  Anyone?

did you check to make sure they are in the 64 bit vst plugins folder?
or that your plug in manager is scanning that folder?

i would look right there first.

On my system it appeared that Sonar was seeing the 32 bit Waves rather than the 64 bit Waves with them both installed.

Once I eliminated the 32 bit, the 64 bit seems to have shown up.

might need to set vstpluginnameformat to 2 in the initialization file then rescan vsts.

Try moving the 32-bit plug-ins out of where they are, then re-scan. Sonar should "see" the 64-bit versions and lock into those. Then try putting the 32-bit plug-ins back for your non-64-bit programs, and I think Sonar will still stick with the 64-bit versions.

I have them both installed and no problems whatsoever....

Just make sure you have both paths for the Waveshells in
your plugin manager.

I usually exclude the 32 Bit VST's in the plugin manager so
I don't accidentally use them.  Only the VSTs that are only
32 bit do I leave on the list...

I also just delete the waveshell in the 32 bit folder.

Thanx guys.

I've uninstalled waves, but the 32 bit plugin remains. When I try to exclude them I get a message that the Wave-shell 9.2.dll directory no longer exists (true enough) and asks me if I want to remove the plugin from the registry.

I do, but after confirming, the 32-bit plugins pop back in the registered plug-in window in plug-in manager. I'm stuck.
