I am looking forwared to your next vid Charlie...I'd like to learn a bit more about using my DR-880 and using it to trigger drum parts within X2...I know the basics, but I am sure there are a few things I could learn...I'm focusing on anything drums at the moment, so this is great! Thanks!

That's a great beginner vid, Chuck. Exactly how I've been working.

My favorite part though is the Bahstin accent. ;-)

Thank You Chuck

Were I at that stage of learning I would have really appreciated your video, very useful and easy to follow, good stuff.

Has anyone ever compared you to an Afghan Hound ?
I just thought when I saw you, put a pair of shades on this guy Afghan Hound and he could be your stand in
Hope you're not offended

Steve

i think you and i are past the point of offending eachother would'nt you say ?

no offense at all steve.
as a matter of fact,I might not always agree with you but i do have a great amount of respect for your knowlege of products, including BFD.
your very helpful on this forum to anyone who needs help with BFD and as many shots as ive taken at you and BFD its a very proffesional program and its far more superior than session drummer ever could be.

even though i favor session drummer im smart enough to realise BFD takes the prize.
Glad we are meeting on even ground.

I'll try to make more of an effort not to meddle where i dont belong
and thats topics where you can be helpful and i only have opinions.

That's a good to know Chuck

I feel I should make some videos on using BFD2 & Eco within sonar and some of my own "individual" techniques.
I have no experience at all in making my own video and don't have a web cam (which for viewers would be a good thing)
What software do you use to make your video's and is there any free stuff out there?

Good video Charlie.
PRV has changed a lot since I last used it.
A couple tricks in your vid that were very helpful to me.
I like the fast pace as well.

Appreciate the effort.

If you are lazy like me you can have Jamstix 3 do all the work for you...

I now have soft synth track templates built with Jamstix and SD3, EZ drummer, BFD2, Battery and Kontakt.  Just drag the template into a project and the mit mapping, kit type etc is all instantly recalled.

Just another option I thought I would mention.
