Why did they give this a new name??  OK, they did say it was an "upgrade", but why change the name? It made me think I was getting something completely revamped.  I mean, how hard is it to take software and throw a VST shell around it and add sidechaining?  I have to say I feel a little duped.  Not majorly, but just a little.

They sell it in Reason format as CA-2A also,

PC-2A kind of intimated 'ProChannel' because of the PC, but this is a VST/AU so wouldn't have made as much sense. CA-2A makes one think 'Cakewalk' because of the CA.

DL'd installed and registered mine. I did get credit card not valid errors. I payed via paypal then on the same card, no problems. I upgraded. Haven't put it through it's paces yet.

Whoever sends out the SN and REG code muct have called it a night... downloaded, waiting for SN to complete install for well over an hour. Going to bed zzzzzz. Maybe it will be here tomorrow. Been checking email and acct a lot. Oh well...

It took about a half hour for me to get my serial number. Installed and playing with it now.

I had my serial and reg numbers within a few minutes....actually no more than 5 minutes at the most.

I have read some people on this forum say this when ever CW offers anything.  Either those people have unrealistic expectations or they are not rational. If you are a grown person and have control of your funds and can make a decision plus read, I find this sort of complaint ridiculous. If CW offered something that wont work or never was delivered than you have a complaint. Otherwise if you read the specs on it and understood what you read how on this planet can you "feel" duped? 

  Your only argument is they changed the name. My goodness how awful!  They added features and now let it be used in other DAWs but for some reason that isn't enough. What else were you looking for?
