Hi all. As the picture above presents, some of my samples don't seem to work out.
Well..it plays perfectly when I preview it on the browser bar but whenever I drag a sample into my tracks,
it only creates the track with its sample name without having any audio signals. (As it shows on the second track from the image)
Does anyone know why this is happening? Other samples work just fine like how I put it on my first track.
I've tried to import it from the file tab, I've tried to drag it down from the browser bar and I've tried to click "Insert at Now Time" but nothing seem to be working.

I need some help please! :(

Is is possible these are "Broadcast Wave" files? If so, the file may be way down the timeline. Make sure to uncheck the Edit > Preferences > File > Audio Data "Always Import Broadcast Waves At Their Timestamp" checkbox

Doesn't seem likely that a file named "KICK.WAV" would be a BWF. However, the audio clip is clearly far off to the right, as indicated by the dots.

Hold Shift-F and see if it comes in to view.

Those dots mean nothing. It only shows that an envelope was created. The dots are dots because there is nothing to automate beyond the solid envelope.

Not the green dots ... the light gray dots on track two ... that's the track where the OP tried to drag in the clip.

If you hold Shift-F, it fits the entire project in to the track pane.
