Well done Beep - you've been an inspiration to a lot of us!

And if you keep on posting at the same rate, Bapu will start to worry.

... and hope I don't knock up my DAW.

;-)
It's usually the DAW that does that to you ...

@Karl and Jonesey... You guys have both given me extraordinary amounts of help as well. Many thanks.

@mudgel... heh, I'm an old soul I guess and it probably comes through in my blatherings but in reality I'm only in my 30's. Just been through a lot of crap so I seem like a geriatric. And thanks for the insights you've tossed my way as well. ;-)

@trimph... It's good having other Canucks around here. I think we temper the place a bit... well, then there are the Quebecers but I love those crazy frenchies. Cheers. ;-)

@Bub... My flower is untouched and pure! UNTOUCHED AND PURE!

Answering a lot of questions on the forum as you have also makes for a good learning experience.

Hi, Dave. Definitely. The forum queue is kind of like a pop quiz.

And thanks to you as well. You've pointed me in the right direction more than a few times.

Congrats to you Beepster.  Your hard work has been rewarded !
As a newbie here I am just starting out on the same road you have travelled (and still are travelling I guess - always more to learn).  I have already had sound advice from some of the people you have mentioned and thanked, and I am already glad I came here.  I just hope I can climb the steep learning curve that is still ahead of me.  This is a great place to be and learn ....

@Kev... Thanks. :-)

@LordElpus... Ya, man. Definitely pay attention to those guys. A few other guys whose posts I always try to read (even if I don't fully understand them) are, Danny Danzi, Jeff Evans, bitflipper, AT. By no means is that a complete list but those guys will blow your mind. Cheers and happy tracking. ;-)

I think between those 4, and I must include FastBikerBoy for his encyclopedic knowledge of Sonar, they have virtually everything covered, though there are many more equally worthy of inclusion in the list.

I remember coming on here in 2007 without knowing a thing about Midi/DAWS etc. I had done a bit of hard disc recording and 'real' mixing on a pair of small Soundcraft desks but nothing like this at all.

Well the support & encouragement I was given blew me away, which is one reason why I love to extend the courtesy shown to me onto other newbies, sort of like giving something back to the community, if you know what I mean.
