Henry J uses Sonar. No kidding. I gave him a copy of "The Guitarist's Guide to Sonar," I think that's what sealed the deal.
But seriously, I don't apologize for Cakewalk. I use it. It works. I feel bad for the people who have problems with it, but believe me - if it had deal-breakers, I'd be using a different DAW. I have pretty much every DAW installed on my Windows and Mac computers, so anything else is just a click or two away.
Every now and then someone from Cakewalk says they appreciate my support. I always remind them that the minute I find a program that works better for me, I'll use that instead. My goal is making music, not using Sonar. It just so happens that at least for me, Sonar works
really well for making music.
