Anyone else had this issue?
I am confused.
I'm just not sure what has changed in my setup/system to cause this.
I'm good at trouble shooting and this has me stumped.

Evo works still, but it doesn't sound exactly the same.

Hmmm.... any automatic windows updates that may be causing something to happen with Autotune? You could try to roll back your system to a previous point and see if this remedies the problem and then be very careful with whatever gets installed in the background. Have you talked to Antares about this?

I have never contacted antares  because i've never had an issue.   I did notice an update at shutdown a few days ago- i could try a rollback.
BTW- i see you are using X2- are you having any issues?
I just finally bought it today.

I was wondering if you had contacted them concerning this issue. Perhaps they have some up to the minute knowledge about issues with certain Windows updates that have rolled out recently

When these things occur - in my experience - it's usually caused by some automatic update happening in the background. A roll back usually fixes it and if the system remains stable after that I don't add any updates until after a month or so, while keeping a note of which restore point I've used that worked. That's the only solution I can offer I'm afraid. I hope it works out.

Yes, I've been very happy with X2. I haven't had much time beating it up after X2a came out but I'm starting up a new project this month so we'll see. But I haven't really had any problems. A niggle here and there which I worked around. Now I hardly remember what they were. But stable as heck and it have some great workflow enhancements over X1.

If you install it, have fun. And remember that you can go back to X1 if it doesn't work out for you right away. My guess is that you will be very happy with X2

Been using Auto Tune 4 like mad for a client in X2. Not a single issue yet for me. As a matter of fact, on this particular vocal track, it's used 7 times via "split clip/insert effects on the clip" method. No issues to report.

Oh, should mention then... I don't use Autotune so can't tell you if it would work here

somehow, reinstalling Antares EVO fixed the problem with AT4.   I don't get it.
But I had a horrible session last night with a client who uses AT on almost all his projects.
I was desperate to reassure him that we'd be able to open his old projects and AT would still work.
So stressful.
I had to send him home last night without mixes and promise that I'd fix the problem and dropbox him the mixes the next day (which i did).

It's amazing- no amount of money can insure that everything will work all the time.

Glad it is fixed. I suggest you run scandisk now.

There ya go BlixYZ - That would be my next suggestion

Too bad you had that hick up with the client but I'm glad it worked out.

This is why I remain on XP and SONAR 8.5, and don't do automatic Windows updates. This way I am pretty much assured that everything that worked yesterday will still work today. (Of course, the converse is also true: what was broken yesterday will still be broken today. But at least I already know what's broken.)
