Thanks for listening Lynn.  It was a lot of fun working with this group to write and record the song.  I believe Reese has posted a newer version if you want to check and see if you are hearing any more issues with the stereo balance.

Nice clear, punchy mix. Drums seem a bit fussy and complicated - some of the fills carry on into the next bar which I found distracting.

Acoustic guitar is really nice, as is the solo by Herb, tasteful phrasing. Vocalist is very good, but he seems a little overwrought from the get-go, might have built the song a little better if he'd held back at the start.

Accapella section is excellent. Good collab!

Thanks for the listen and great comments James!

nice one Beagle - nice clear mix.
Maybe a bit hot on the drums - I think I heard some distortion a couple of times.
Great playing and performances by all.

thanks daryl me mate!  I did actually bring the drums down a little in that last revision.  appreciate it!

+1 to everything above.   Nice song, solid performance and mix, and great harmonies.   A little tweaking and it should good to go.

thanks so much for the listen and kind words, Steve!

This reminds me of the early Beatle stereo recordings with all the vocals on one side and the instruments on the other side, though not quite as severe.  Yet, the overall recording sounds reasonably balanced.  I feel the vocal could come up a bit throughout the verse because a song of praise needs to be upfront, imo.  Otherwise, this sounds joyous, and I can hear the devotion in this.  A few minor tweaks and this is a gem.

Thanks Lynn for the listen and comments!  I appreciate it!

excellent!  thanks Dave!

I really appreciate all who have listened and commented!  we had a great time working on this, but we also had some rough times.  meh - it's all part of being in a "band" even if it is virtual, eh?

thanks again everyone!  and we're working on more songs now!

I really like this, Reece!  Great tune (which is important, IMO), and great words.  Still don't know enough to comment on the mix, but it doesn't sound bad to me. :)  Brings back lots of memories of tracks and ideas flying back and forth.  Glad this turned out!  :)

Great song, Reece and friends.  I really like the arrangement and performances.  Good subject matter.  Sean has a great voice.  You gotta love a B3.

Hey Tom - thanks for stopping by and listening!  glad you like it!

Janet!  Long time!  I've missed your piano concertos!  thanks so much for listening and thanks for the great comments!

Hey Tim - thanks for listening and thanks for the great comments!

Warren my friend!  how's your health these days?  hope things are looking up!  thanks for the comments!  yes, I really like Sean's voice, he does a great job!  I was originally going to sing this one until I heard Sean do a demo of his melody suggestion and decided he was the better man for this one!
funny you should say "You gotta love a B3" - one of the comments I got on another forum was that the organ sound made him literally laugh out loud because it sounded like his mom's old Wurlitzer!  well, I guess we all have nightmares about one thing or another, but this was a real XK3c with drawbar settings from a B3, so I don't know what he was smoking...    thanks again!

thanks everyone!

Seems like the whole group of them are smokin' something over there..........which should be completely against their principals.

Don't worry to much about it "Wurlitzer Dawg", he also didn't like the guitars.  On our other song, he claimed one of us needed to be wearing spandex and getting out the can of hair spray.

Definately smok'n something over there, I tell ya.
