Prophet did get an update so make sure you have the latest version. It's one if 3 that got a quick update after release.

I've just checked the Arturia site and I have the latest version which is 3.0.0.870
 
I might try uninstalling and re-installing it, see if that makes any difference.

Yeah - I guess it IS time to upgrade to Arturia V Collection 4 or 5 whichever it is - I currently use 3 and love the sounds.

There is a new update for the Prophet V - 3.0.1.58 - The release notes say "no more crashing in 64 bit DAW when changing a preset"
 
There are also updates for Modular V3, SEM V2 and Jupiter 8 V3.

There is quite a bit extra over and above 3.
4 introduced the Matrix-12 and the Solina V. The Matrix-12 is the stand out but the Solina has some unique features that make it useful even when you have sampled string machiens in abundance.
 
In 5 the Synclavier is outstanding and totally unlike any thing else I have.
 
I was initally dubious about the other additions in 5 but they all bring somthing new to the well trodden ground they cover. For example the custom wave function in the Farifisa means it can produce some unique tones while the ability to modulate each drawbar on the B3 indivitually opens up some very intresting possibilities. The piano is not half bad but I would say its best for the more unusual and processed sounds if you have some quality sampled grand pianos.
