Yeah, unless you installed the X2 build 308 quick fix, you may not have a Backup folder under "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Sonar X2 Producer"

That's probably it.

I installed the quick fix originally, but then I had a clean up and removed all prevoius version, including X2 and went from X2 straight to X2a

The piece of work sitting in my X2a DAW at the moment basically consists of about 40 Loops from the Additional Content, a DimPro instance, and an Alchemy instance (only a few MIDI notes recorded so far.)  There are some Pro Channel modules in use on about 8 of the loop tracks and about 3 F/X chains in use as well.  This should be a breeze, even on MY PC.

I have made no changes to any of the settings I had in place in X2.  The problems I already mentioned.

I'll let you know what I find out.
