I have looked around and can't find anything on the forum that addresses my exact issue(only a couple of threads from like Sonar 6)...so here it is. When looping a MIDI clip (SD3), the first beat is distorted and as the looping continues after a few minutes the kick starts to fall out...it's like it gets sick of looping and then starts to crap on me. It seems to only be the kick, because I solo the other instruments and they sound fine. I am running multiple stereo outs for the snare, hats, kick, toms all together, and cymbals all together...maybe I am late on this issue and have missed it, but can someone help me fix this annoying problem. I have played with buffers and different sample rates and nothing seems to help. I am only running SD3 and working with one clip. I am sure this is something easy... Thanks! David

I had the same problem until i changed audio interfaces. Not sure if that was the cause, but just know you are not the only one to have that issue.

I wonder if this is the same problem I'm having. I usually reset all midi and audio ...then it sounds fie.

I have pretty good interface and have read where that was the issue for some. I would be HIGHLY upset if a a MOTU was giving me this issue! It's very strange as it seems to be the kick only. All the other instruments sound just fine in the loop when I soloed them...now this has gotten a bit more strange...I wonder if this is a SD3 or Step Sequencer issue? Anyone else got any ideas? I just started playing around with MIDI and am beginning to see what some of the gripes people have had with MIDI over the years...not comlaining though...YET...it may be something I have wrong...
