ok having my first totally funky problem with x2.  none of my soft synths in new projects have avaliable automation parameters in automation lanes in new projects.  i have tried inserting synths with display automation option on both the first synth audio output and midi source track to no avail.  anyone run into this and have a fix???

huh. weird.  looks like i have to undock the synth browser and manually assign the tracks that they are to be displayed for each synth.  never had that happen b4,,, >_<

bump... anyone else seeing this before i file a bug report???

and another oddity... if i tell the insert synth options to "ask every time" which will bring up the dialog box the automation will show up on the assigned track correctly.  

i'm also getting some occasional weirdness when i move automation to a separate track for editing parameters from different synths - sometimes the parameters the automation controls move to a different parameter.  move the automation back to the original track and all is well.  i'll try to get a vid of this.

I just inserted Dimension Pro and in the audio track the synth parameters are in the dropdown in the automation lane. I don't know what the fix is in your case. I'm using 32 bit sonar x2a. 


edit...I do have the "synth options dialog" set to always display.

do you have the popup for insert synth to "alwayd on"? when mine is off the automation doesnt assign automatically.

yes I do. I just turned it off and I see the same behavior as you no available automation parameters.
