Some of you might have seen my thread about switching over to 64-bit. So far, everything is amazing. One issue, though: Sibelius 7 won't show up as a rewire device. When I go to insert a rewire device, it's grayed out. I'm running the 64-bit version of X1 AND Sibelius 7 supports 64-bit rewire. So, what's going on?

Yes, I did. I'm running Sonar X1 Producer Expanded (which requires the X1D update, I believe).

I read somewhere that, in order for 64-bit Rewire to work, you have to install Sonar BEFORE Sibelius, which I did not do. I did uninstall Sibelius and reinstall it and that didn't fix it. If I reinstall X1, will that fix the problem?

Not sure about Sibelius but I had the same problem with reason
The update to X1 d fixed it for me.

another simple thing is you can't mix 32  / 64 bit.. both have to be one or the other.

does sib. install 32 bit by default or something ? reason I ask is reason will install 64 bit as default and you have to tell it to use 32 bit.

You know, I was wondering about that, Fog. Sibelius doesn't give an option, but I'll check into that.

the other thing you need to watch out for is the x1d update.  there is a separate one for expanded.  if you have x1 installed, apply the x1d patch then upgrade to prod expanded you need to apply the x1d pe patch as well.

Actually, nevermind - yeah, I have the X1d update for Producer Expanded.
