  • Can Breverb2 possibly cause unwatned distortion sound to my mix?

I've had my entire mix ready to be exported without any peaks on my bus.
(And I don't hear any distortion/noise sound when it's being played in X2)
There is no reason for my mix to cause any distortion or noise sounds.
But when I export it on my X2, the outcome comes out with a terrible distortion sound.

So instead of exporting my mix from X2, I've tried X1 with exactly same settings.
Guess what, X1 exported my entire mix without any flaws.

Since Breverb2 is the only thing that I used that's not supported in X1,
I'm guessing Breverb2 is the possible reason for the distortion/noise sound on X2.

Can this possibly happen? Can any of the Breverb2 effects cause distortion/noise sound?
I haven't tried using different reverbs yet, but I can't seem to figure out where this distortion/noise sound is coming from.
(Especially when my mix gets exported perfectly fine on X1)

Check your track outputs and buses.  I've found that X2 will sometimes randomly reassign them, which causes all kinds of sonic havoc.

That is the only reason I can think of this morning why an export mix would sound different than what you hear.  That is the problem, not Breverb or any other plug.  Maybe after more coffee I can come up with another.

If your clipping your signal in that plugin, then yes. check your gain stage through out your signal chain to find where the artifacts are coming from.

It can also be a driver issue, so maybe you need to raise your ASIO buffers or WDM slider. Hopefully, you have a sound card made for recording.
