Great job Robert!! I like the 70's rock vibe that this has to it. I might dial in the bass with a little more bottom and a little more bump in the mid high. Might not be what you want...I would probably try it to see if it add some more kick to the mix.. The guitars are sitting out front pretty well and well played I might add. I like the variety we have here. Nice to hear a rocker from you!

Glad I dropped in to have a listen.  NICE tone.... What is the signal path and amps on the guitars?

I love that fat sounding chording....

Not a JP fan but I like this.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I appreciate it.

GH - My signal path is a Blackstar HT-5 into my Octa-Capture. On the tracks I use the channel compressor. I compress it to about -8db of gain reduction, get the level right between on and off and then move the mix knob to around 40% so more of the original comes through. The attack is longer and the release is shorter. I usually put my Ibanez on the left and my Les Paul on the right and send each to one bus. I use the buss compressor the same as the channel compressors again leaving more clean sound VS. the compressed sound. I then use a IK LA-2A EMU with only -.5 db of gain reduction with the switch on compress. It reads like I'm using a lot of compression but I'm only using very little. It's more of an effect. Ever since I started doing it this way, I've been getting a chunkier sound. When I add reverb, I solo the guitar tracks and start/stop until till it's there but not overdone. I wish the IK plugs had mix knobs because they sound better but the PC modules work.

Thanks again!!!

Hey, Robert,

FANTASTIC job on this killer Priest cover, one of my all time favorites!

Excellent work on the guitars, bass and drums, and your buddy Jim did a real bangup job covering Halford's vocals!

Rockin' stuff, Robert, nice work!
