Am I turning astigmatic, or is Garritan actually shorter than eSoundz? No, it can't be. Surely not. Ay, the problem with proportional fonts...

Yep, I think the larger libraries from Ultimate might be off limits. Then again, I don't see why they wouldn't allow us to re-download them if they are indeed taking the download-route.
Keep us posted, Glyn, if you get more news from NI.

I checked "my products and serial numbers" on my account at NI and everything is availabe for download except, of course, 3rd party products authorised via service centre.

Downloads are available for Komplete 10 and earlier versions of Komplete I owned.  I am not sure if this would be the case for ultimate.

Komplete Ultimate can be downloaded. I don't see the point of it since it comes on a drive.
EWQL HOW Diamond - not sure since upgrades come on a drive.
Kirk Hunter libraries can.

What if the drive fails, or you get robbed? I am currently creating a second off site back up. I won't be including Komplete as I have a set of DVDs and if disaster strikes and something happens to them I can download it.

This is one thing that has pissed me off to no end. I cannot back up this library because of the way their file tree and naming system is. Quite a few file names are too long to be moved to another backup drive so I can only use the library on the drive it came on. Even when trying to eliminate characters to get under the 255 limit from base folder names it won't do it.
