They're a bit different in NY...

Well, Barbara Corcoran lives here.

Amazing how outside events turn into scenarios when you're asleep.

I often have occasions where a noise will become part of a dream, like my missus shutting the bathroom door, or the dog barking. I wonder how the brain can process that information so quickly and incorporate it into a dream, almost anticipating it.

It happens in weird ways which can almost feel like your brain is bending time. When I was about 15 I had a dream in which I was leaning out of my window watching my friend walk down the street towards my house. It took him ages because he kept stopping to pet cats and talk to people and whatnot. Eventually he walked down my path and rang the bell. I woke to the sound of my front door bell ringing in reality, and there he was in person. Never forget that one, it blew my mind.

Although I tend to dream a lot, I still remember one from when I was 13.  I was going to go to Knott's Berry Farm with a youth group I belonged to and, in my dream, we got there and a girl I'd never seen before was with us.  Everyone split up into smaller groups as usual and she was with me and a couple of others as we went into the park.  Soon after we got separated and couldn't find her so we searched the park for quite a while before finally locating her in a carnival area near the exits.

So, the day comes for the trip and there's the girl!  Turns out she's a friend of one of the other girls in the group and had come along.  We get to the park and, sure enough, she ends up with her friend, another guy and me.  Just like in the dream we got separated and I'm having all sorts of déjà vu!  Naturally I remember where we ended up finding her so I suggested "Hey, let's check over in the carnival area!"  But, when we got there, she was nowhere to be found.  I was a bit bummed that my trick didn't work so we ended up doing a long search for her anyway.  Finally, we found her, ... in the carnival area.  I guess by trying to use the information in my dream I had simply gotten there too soon and she hadn't arrived in that area of the park yet!  Still the wildest "future" dream I've ever had.

So, there's a chance that I might actually wake up with Scarlet Johansen someday?

Sadly, I think you're more likely to wake up with Scarlet Fever...

...
So in the morning I'm getting ready for work and I walked past the bed and there right in the middle of it was a toothpick. I have no idea how it got there but it was snapped into a right angle as if I'd been rolling over onto it all night. Dream explained, lol. Amazing how outside events turn into scenarios when you're asleep.

I would think the neighbor deserves an apology, and the toothpick ... well ... the fireplace sounds good!

To me, those are the learning pieces about one self, that are priceless.

Maybe your neighbor was poking you with the toothpick, snuck out of your apt so you would think it was you rolling on it. In any case saying you were poked by your neighbor probably doesn't sound right.

I had a dream that I think was representative of something else. I can't repeat it here because it was just strange, but very realistic. If I told you , you would think I'm doing acid, but I'm not.

I think I know what it mean't. It was a word of caution to me about something. I'm probably the only one who would get it anyhow :)

If you can tell me what my dream was, I'll buy you dinner.
