Hello,

I don't ask for much ,

But on my wish list I would like,

The ability to copy a pattern from the step sequencer to tracks, thus being able to edit it as clips (unless I am missing the button to do this)

And

A fully editable session drummer , where I can shorten sample etc

But the main wish Is the first

Ovens on and bake

Thanks

when you are using the step sequencer, every time you activate a note on the sequencer it puts it in the prv and you get yoyur midi clip, i would like to see the session revamped myself

Bounce the MIDI track created by Step Sequencer to an audio track.

Oooo does it ,

So does that mean,

I can build a groove in step

Copy it a few times

Then say on the 4th copy I can take out hats without removing them from previous copies?

When you copy a pattern (from the track), the patterns are automatically linked.

You can see a number on the top right of the clip - the number indicates how many times they are linked.

Or by right clicking on the clip and see if the option 'unlink step sequencer' is available. If this option is available, it means the clip is still linked.

Editing a linked clip, resulted in all the links being edited at the same time. To edit just a particular clip, make sure you unlink it first.

Hi,
session drummer and step sequencer are working well .
Take a look at the master class drum production 1 vid,,
t´s possible to join into a new world (in drum production).
This vid shows  a lot tricks.

Not sure if this will help but a lot of people don't know what the little
"eighth note +" thing does on the far right of the MIDI selector does when you are
looking at the Drumkit View of the kit in Session Drummer.

When you click on that icon, it puts the pattern that you have currently selected (one of the patterns A-G)
into a buffer that you can drop into the SD track

Load up session drummer
Load yer kit/pattern
click and drag on the eighth note icon and you can drop the pattern into the Session Drummer track and edit it in the piano roll view
The clip can be extended by dragging it's edges and if you want to change the pattern (add a drum pickup - whatever) you just make a copy of the clip and put it there
and just edit the notes in the measure under review.

Then - when you hit Stop on the SD transport - and play on the song transport - SD will just play the
midi notes (drum info) in that track as the tune rolls by.  I think this is what you want
- but not being you - I'm not really sure

Maybe this helps
